In 1985, UNITED PERLITE CORPORATION (UPC) took over the operations from Trinity Lodge Mining Corporation,
a perlite pioneering company who in 1968 established the first perlite
manufacturing plant in the Philippines. It was also during
this time that we first introduced the Philippine made perlite filter
aid into the sugar refineries, carageenan industry, coconut oil processors
and the pineapple processing , etc. The Philippine made perlite filter aid is comparable with imported brands at lesser cost. Presently, the concession is the only biggest known high-grade perlite ore deposit in the Philippines.
In its quest for excellence, United Perlite Corporation is continuously searching for new technologies to further improve the quality of its perlite filter aid, insulation and construction grade, horticulture grade, patching compound and paint filler, also, for its pre-molded insulation products for boilers, geothermal power plants and oil refineries.
Since 1995, United Perlite Corporation has involved itself in the insulation and cladding requirements of factories, geothermal plants and oil refineries.
